When you install a Koodoku app, Shopify shares the store information each app needs to work, such as your store name, email address, products and, for some apps, order details. We only request the permissions each app genuinely needs.

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies and privacy friendly analytics to understand how it is used.

Shopper information

Some apps process information about your customers on your behalf, such as an email address entered into a popup, a review, or loyalty points. In these cases you are the controller of that information, and Koodoku processes it only to provide the service to you.

How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain and improve our services, to offer support, to send important updates about your account, and to keep our services secure. We never sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run Koodoku, such as hosting and email providers, and only under strict agreements. We may also share information when required by law.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and our systems are monitored continuously.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service. When you uninstall an app, store data is deleted after a short grace period, in line with Shopify's data deletion requests.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your information at any time by writing to us. We support Shopify's customer data request and redaction webhooks, so shopper requests are honoured automatically.

International transfers

Our services are delivered from secure data centres in different regions. Wherever information is processed, we protect it with the same care and appropriate safeguards.
